black sesame porridgeThis blog is about traveling the world through the thick gloopy  slop that thousands of people around the world call breakfast.  Porridge is a blank canvas coloured  each day with blueberries, thousand year old eggs, lychee jam,  rancid yak milk,  or whatever other treasures are discovered on the way to my fridge, around  Hong Kong, and on frequent porridge forays across the globe.

Porridge  is food , medicine,  a daily  meditation, a vantage point on diversity,  the grain in which is contained the whole world, an excercise in free flow writing,  and an entry  point  into the world of blogs. And mostly it tastes pretty good.
